1. Clean the Interior and Exterior of Your Car
Before storing your car, be sure to thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of your vehicle. Also, leaving trash, crumbs, and garbage inside your car can cause odors and attracts bugs and pests.
2. Fill Up Your Gas Tank
Filling up your gas tank is very important before storing your car. A low fuel tank can result in moisture to build up in your tank. The moisture can cause rust and other issues. You may want to add fuel stabilizer to your tank as well. The stabilizer will absorb moisture and prevent gummy buildup. 3. Complete an Oil Change

4. Overfill Tires

Check your tire pressure, and then add more than the recommended psi number found in your manual or on the driver’s side door panel. You may also want to periodically reposition your tires as well to help protect them.
